Buragina, Caterina Peacefully at Parkwood Hospital on Thursday, January 3, 2008 Caterina Buragina, in her 85th year, now reunited with her beloved husband, the late Antonio Buragina. Caring mother of Laura Sgromo (Bruno), Giuseppe Buragina (Dorothy) and Mario Buragina (Lisa). Adored nanna of Tina Pereira (Tony), Catherine Chow (Bill), Vincent Sgromo (Colette), Vicki Swart (Jon), Michael Buragina (Kelli), Catherine, Concetta and Antonio Buragina. Loving great-grandmother of 8 great-grandchildren. We will always remember your kindness and infinite compassion. We will miss nanna's companionship, warmth, and affection. You will be deeply missed by many friends, especially your cherished friend, Genoveffa Circelli. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Saturday evening from 7-9 o'clock and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church, 345 Lyle Street, on Monday morning at 11 o'clock. Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum, St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Sunday evening at 7:30 o'clock. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the St. Mary's Church Restortation Fund or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
