Obituary of David Andrew Kirk

David Andrew Kirk Sr. Peacefully on Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at Parkwood Hospital in his 71st year David Andrew Kirk Sr., dear husband of the late Marla (O'Brien) Kirk, son of the late Norman E. and Edna (Kilmer) Kirk, loving father of David and Patricia Kirk, Dennis Kirk and Stacy, Heather M. Kirk and father-in-law of Carolyn Kirk. Proud grandfather of Justin, Eric, Joshua, Kristen and Jacob Kirk. Dear friend of Marie Amero. Dear brother of Doug and Maureen Kirk of London, Bonnie and Tony Stacpoole of St. Thomas, and Bob and Joan Kirk of London. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Caroline Despard and the dedicated nurses of the Palliative Care Unit of Parkwood Hospital for the care they provided David. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Friday, November 30th from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock, where the funeral service will be held on Saturday morning, December 1, 2007 at 10 o'clock with Reverend James Garey officiating. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to Parkwood Hospital - Palliative Care Unit or the Canadian Cancer Society.
