Obituary of Isabella Predonzan

Predonzan, Isabella (nee DeSando) Our Zia Isabella, peacefully after a brief illness with family by her side passed away at Peoplecare Oakcrossing London on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 Isabella (nee DeSando) in her 89th year. Isabella was born in Acconia, Italy on August 12, 1925. Beloved wife of the late Bruno Predonzan (1987). Daughter of the late Giovanni (1942) and Rosaria (nee Mazza) (1985) DeSando. Dear sister of Maria Concetta DeSando (late Francesco Colombo) (1996) of Italy, Palma Perugino and her husband Antonio, Vincenzo DeSando (late Adelina) (2007). Predeceased by her brothers Bruno (1988), Joseph (1997) and Domenico (2001) DeSando. Dear sister in law of Maria, Concettina, and Anna DeSando. Zia Isabella will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Loving Godmother of Rosa Turquassio, John DeSando, Vito Pettinato and Dino Schiavone. A special thank you to the staff at Peoplecare Oakcrossing London Sugarmaple for making the last 2 years of our Zia’s life enjoyable, fulfilling and meaningful. The compassion and care our Zia and we as a family received from the staff the last six weeks was above and beyond our expectations. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 o’clock. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church, 345 Lyle Street, on Saturday morning at 10 o’clock. Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum – St. Peter’s Cemetery. Prayers Friday afternoon at 3 o’clock. Donations to St. Mary’s Church Restoration Fund or in honour of her husband the London Regional Cancer Program c/o LHSF or in honour of her brothers Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
