Obituary of Helena Maria Sophia Vermue

Vermue, Helena It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Helena (Leny) Vermue (nee Koot) on Wednesday, October 3rd, 2007 in her 72nd year in her sleep. Cherished wife of Henk. Loving mom of Paul and Elizabeth Nelson, Tim Nelson, Michelle and Ben Gubbels and Mark Nelson. Dear step-mom to Allan and David. Proud grandma of her amazing grandchildren Emily, Sarah and Jared, Joseph, Chris and Geofrey. Dear sister and sister in law of Mabel Koot, Dinah Koot, Betty Poel, Joanne and Harry Boere, Sister Mary Joanne Koot, Cathy and Andy Vrolyk, Pauline and Hank vanLeerzem and Joseph and Joanne Koot. Predeceased by her parents William and Johanna Koot. Also predeceased by Wim Koot, Bill Koot, Mary and Bert Luyben, John Koot, Tony Koot, Peter Poel and Jake deJeu. She will be sadly missed by her extended family and her many loving friends, she was always there for anyone. We love you and will miss you mom. You were the strongest woman we know and a role model for us all. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Church, 777 Valetta Street, on Saturday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Friday evening at 7:30 o'clock.
