Obituary of Francis Xavier Mitchell

MITCHELL It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Francis (Frank) Mitchell of London on August 12th, 2007, in his 82nd. Beloved husband of Betty (Feeney) for 55 years. Dear father of Marian Mitchell and Michael McCormick, Mike and Karen Mitchell, Maureen and Brian Crowley. Loving grandfather of Jeff Mitchell. Survived by his family Tony Mitchell, Mary McAvoy, Claire Feeny, Sister Loretta Mitchell OSU, and sister-in-law Margaret Mitchell. Predeceased by Theresa and Jack Nolan, Ambrose and Christian Mitchell, Edith (Sister Mary James HHM), Jack , Kay, Jimmy, Joe Mitchell CSSR, Josie and Robert Stephenson, jack Feeney, and Redge Macavoy. Frank is also survived by many nieces nephews and cousins. Born and farmewd in North Dorchester, he loved to play cards. He will be missed by his many friends at St. Martins, and neighbours. Frank also served for many years with The St. Vincent de Paul Society. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, London on Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Martin of Tours Church, 46 Cathcart Street on Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Tuesday evening at 7:15 o'clock.
