At LHSC University Hospital on Wednesday July 11, 2007 Mary Madeline (nee Kennelly) loving wife of the late Richard (Dick) Walker (1962) in her 85th year. Cherished mother of Rosemary Soga and her husband Victor of London, Douglas Walker and his wife Glenda of London, Delphine Lehmann and her husband Peter of Arlington, Texas, Martha Kenny and her husband Murray of Smith Falls, ON. Proud grandma of Drew, Phillip, Daley, Rory, Morgan and Molly. Happy step grandma of Courtney and Eric (Jacqueline) Lasch and their son Ben. Dear sister of Frances, Vincent (Eileen) and sister in law of Gloria. Predeceased by her sisters; Sister Delphine, Patricia, Marguerite and Ann and her brothers Joseph and Edman. Predeceased by her sisters in law Blanche (Walt), Alta (James), and brother in law Joseph. Missed and remembered by many nieces and nephews. Madeline was born in Rainy River District and moved to Read as a small child in East, ON. She began her adult life in London, ON at Westminster Hospital, where she met our father Richard. Madeline was an "east ender" who enjoyed the diversity of Hamilton Road with its many different cultures and ethic communities. She was an active member of Holy Cross Parish, a life member of the C.W.L. and the Society of St. Theresa the Little Flower. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at Holy Cross Church, 10 Elm Street at Hamilton Road, on Saturday morning at 9 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Friday evening at 8:30 o'clock. Donations to celebrate her life can be made to the Alzheimers Outreach Program c/o McCormick Home.
