Obituary of Ida Iolanda Truant

TRUANT peacefully at her residence at the Post Inn Village Nursing Home in Oakville, on Saturday July 7, 2007. Mrs. Ida Truant in her 93rd year. Dear wife of the late Peter (Pietro) who passed away in 1958. Dearly loved Mother of Gino and his wife Leith. Proud and loving Nonna to Tasha, Rachel, Cayley, and Jacob. Born in Italy, Ida immigrated to Canada in 1950, where she resided in Windsor before moving to London in 1953. Ida was the last surviving member of her family, being predeceased by her seven siblings. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, London on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 345 Lyle Street, London on Wednesday July 11th at 10:00 o'clock, with Reverend Joseph Dabrowski officiating. Interment St. Alphonsus-Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery, Howard Avenue at Ottawa Street, Windsor, Ontario on Wednesday July 11, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. Those wishing to make memorial donations are asked to please consider the Canadian Diabetes Association.
