Obituary of Thomas Wilfred Cowan

Cowan At 11 p.m. on April 2, 2007 Thomas Wilfred Cowan, loving husband of Patricia Joy Cowan (nee Dunlop) in his 88th year peacefully passed away at Parkwood Hospital. Thomas served in the Second World War with the R.C.E. He was an avid horseshoe player, a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was retired after 34 years of service with C.P.R. He was married for 60 years to Patricia, and was a loving father to 6 children; Suzanne Leppard (Ed); Tim Cowan; Shawn Goddard; Sharron Cowan; James Cowan; Jo-Anne Laraway (Darrell), 10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 1 sister Annabel Longmuir (Roy). He was predeceased by 1 child, 1grandchild, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Also survived by numerous well loved nieces and nephews. Many thanks to the kind staff at Parkwood Hospital and Dr. Caroline Despard. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Saturday from 11-1 o'clock where the funeral service will be held at 1 o'clock. Donations to the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated.
