Obituary of Wesley Reid Heard

Heard passed away suddenly at his home on Thursday, March 1, 2007. A resident of London and Bayfield, Wesley was born in London on 23rd of July, 1946. Beloved son of the late Dr. and Mrs. H. Stanley Heard. Wesley leaves his loving sister Roberta J. Webb and brother-in-law William A. Webb. He will be greatly missed by his nephews William (Agnes) and Robert (Noriko), his great-nephews Masato, James and Stephen and his great-niece Aiko. Wesley was a dedicated employee of Simpsons and The Bay for 38 years and an enthusiastic member of the Army Navy Legion 393, Airborne, Bayfield Historical Society, Pioneer Park Association and the Knights of Columbus. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Tuesday, March 6 from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Peter's Basilica, 196 Dufferin Avenue, on Wednesday morning, March 7 at 10 o'clock. Prayers Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. A Veteran's Memorial Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday evening at 7 o'clock. Interment in Bayfield Cemetery at a later date.
