Obituary of Joseph Carl Semkowski

SEMKOWSKI Suddenly at L.H.S.C. Victoria Hospital on Thursday, February 1, 2007, Joseph (Joey) Semkowski, in his 74th year. Beloved husband of the late Catherine ( Kaye) (nee O'Neil) Semkowski. Loving father of Linda Jacka and her husband Steven, Bruce Semkowski and his wife Susan, Carol Statchuk and her husband Barry and Brian Semkowski and his wife Heather. Proud grandfather (Poppy) of Erin Straughan (Paul), Marcia Crosbie (Miguel), Jeffrey, Matthew, Anne Semkowski, Ashley, Rachel, Rebecca Statchuk, Peter, Jennifer and Sarah Semkowksi. Loving companion of Helen Berlinquette and friend of Helen's family. Dear brother-in-law of Charles O'Neil (Roberta) and Mary O'Neil-Robinson. Survived by many nieces, nephews and many friends; "Guy", "Buddy" and "Pal". Joey was the founder of Semco Paint Ltd. and a respected businessman. He will be also missed by his older "brother" Bill Bowen and his wife Helen. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, London on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Peter's Basilica, 196 Dufferin Avenue on Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock.
