Obituary of John Douglas Case

CASE RCAF Peacefully at London Mental Health Care on Saturday, September 23, 2006, John Douglas, beloved husband of Rita Marie Case, in his 89th year. Dear father of Brian and Bertha Caseof Erieau, Paul Richard and Susan of B.C. and Diane Case of London. Dear grandfather of Brent ( Dana ) and Brooke of Chatham. Dear great-grandfather of Avery and Cohen Case and Mitchell and Marshal Bellamy. Predeceased by his brothers Everitt and Allan Case. Mr. Case was with the R.C.A.F. for five years. He served most of his time as a Spitfire pilot in the Middle East in World War II. He was a longtime employee with London Life and retired in 1980. He was also an active member of Byron Optimist for many years. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at St. Peter's Cemetery, 806 Victoria Street on Tuesday afternoon, September 26, 2006 at 1:30 o'clock. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
