Obituary of Elena Faccia

Faccia On Tuesday, September 12, 2006. Mrs. Elena Faccia went to be with her Lord after a long and brave battle with diabetes. She was born on December 23, 1922 in Carpineto, Italy and immigrated to London with her family in 1959. As with all else in her life, she handled her pain and suffering with dignity and courage. Despite her illness, she always worried more about others than herself. She is survived by her beloved husband Emilio, son and daughter in law, John and Barbara of Franklin TN, grandaughters Kate of Calgary AB, Jill of Nashville TN, and great grandaughter Hannah of Nashville, TN. She is also survived by her brother Frank, sisters Flora and Gilda of London, Ont, Evelyn of Argentina and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Lillian and John Bologna, brother Vincent, and sisters Dora and Bebe. Elena will always be loved and will never be forgotten. Her love and courage will live on in the hearts of all who were privilaged enough to know her. The Faccia family would like to express a special thank you to Sonia and Rita for their compassionate and loving care. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street London on Thursday, September 14, 2006 from 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St Mary's Church, 345 Lyle Street on Friday September 15, 2006 at 11 o'clock with Father Joseph Dabrowski officiating. Elena's final resting place will be at Holy Family Mausoleum - St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Thursday evening at 8 o'clock.
