Basso Suddenly at London Health Sciences Centre - University Hospital on Sunday August 6, 2006 Franco Basso at the age of 60, dear husband of the late Luisa, loving husband of Ivana Blasutto. Cherished father of Dan Basso and Sonia Bilyea both of London. Devoted Nonno of Emily and Isaac. Dear brother of Antonio, Luciano and Giampietro Basso all of Italy. Predeceased by his brother Elio Basso. Dear brother in law of Marianna Maniago (Renato) and Bruno Cesaratto (Eleonora). Special friend of Lorenzo, Nick, Nada and their families. Franco will be dearly missed by his family in Italy, France, USA and Canada. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Tuesday evening from 7-9 o'clock and on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Martin of Tours Church, 46 Cathcart Street at Duchess Avenue, on Thursday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Wednesday evening at 7:30 o;clock. Donations to the LHSC University Hospital Intensive Care Unit would be appreciated.
