Remembering all the wonderful times we had at St Martin School together ! Dan was a fabulous music director for our many plays over the years . He also produced and musically directed a wonderful Children's Christmas CD ! Only Dan ,could have those children singing like Angels ! I remember him telling me that those were some of the best years of his life ! Miss his kind heart ,smile, infectious laugh and beautiful voice ! If you listen closely , I'm sure you can hear him singing with the Angels .❤️Linda

Mr. Kwasnica (we never called him Dan in those days!) taught me piano at St Josephs for many years in the 70s. I am so grateful that he helped me persevere with the piano as it gives me great joy now to play. I have thanked him many times when I sit down to play. We will all miss him.

Dan was my piano teacher, first at Mount St. Joseph's School of Music, then on through private tutelage and finally into the Western Conservatory of Music. Of all the teachers I had previously and since, it was his instruction of the piano that turned me into a musician; it was his gentle strength that demonstrated that he was a gentleman. My family and I send our deepest condolences; he will be sorely missed.

I attended high school in Delhi with Danny all those years ago. We learned Latin, French and English together in the academic class... and travelled the high school journey over 5 years up to 1966. Danny was a unique and extremely talented man. He was so much more than anyone ever really knew. I was saddened to hear of his passing long before his time! You are in my prayers, Danny!

I had the pleasure of being the St. Marys United Church choir when Dan was the organist. I did many summer solo works with him as well as weddings. Always enjoyed his gentle nature and good, fun conversations. As one former choir member once said "He has the perfect touch on the piano for a soloist to sing with." RIP Dan.. heavens music ever sweeter....

Music, once admitted to the soul, becomes a spirit, and never dies. We will have Dan in our lives forever. Memories of his musical talents and loving, gentle soul will remain in our hearts. "I wish we could have shared more 'retirement stories' together Dan." Rest in the Peace of God's love.

Dan taught my children music when they were at Blessed Sacrament. Years later, I was so priviledged to work with Dan at St. Paul. He instilled in the children a love of music and I so enjoyed walking down the halls following the sound of children singing only to have the opportunity to join in! The last meal that Dan prepared for me included an exquisite assortment of caviar, cheeses, beef and dessert. I was to reciprocate this week after his Thanksgiving meal with his sister. I am so sorry that we will miss that gathering. I have lost a true friend.
