Obituary of Evelyn Joan Hagarty

Hagarty Hagarty, Evelyn Joan (Reilly) R.N., graduate of St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing, London; daughter of Walter and Josephine Reilly (Walter killed overseas in WW II); predeceased by her sister Winnie O'Brien, Rathmalyon, County of Meath, Ireland and Madeline Ryan, Chicago; survived by her sister Norma and Dr. Richard Turnbow, Tulsa, Oklahoma, husband William and six children: Maura and Murray Bannon, Nassau, The Bahamas, Megan and Geoffrey Smith, Oakville, Sean, Gerard and Catherine, London, and Dr. Sarah Hagarty and her husband Dr. Kevin Draxinger, Chicago and nine grandchildren. Many thanks to Rev. Leslie, Dr. Gilbert, Dr. Sanatani and the caring nursing and supporting staff at LHSC University Hospital. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street on Saturday evening from 7-9 o'clock and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Peter's Basilica, 196 Dufferin Avenue, on Monday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. In lieu of flowers may wish to donate to LHSC University Hospital 4th floor Medicine Nursing Fund.
