Obituary of George Kortello

Kortello It is with great sadness to announce the passing of a dearly loved step-father and grandfather at London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Hospital on Sunday, January 22, 2006 with his family by his side George Kortello in his 79th year. Loving father to Lynn Johns of London and Dede Johns of B.C. Dear grandfather of Joleane Johns of London. Survived by his brother Harry, his nieces Bonnie and Debbie. Predeceased by one sister Ann, four brothers Nick, Mike, John and William. Son of the late Mary and Alex Kortello. I have known you from birth as well as my daughter, stepfather in only a word, I've always felt of you as my father for you were more of a father to me than some dads will ever be. Joleane has been blessed to have you as a grandfather. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. The three of us will reunite in Heaven. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Thursday from 11 o'clock until the time of the funeral service at 12 noon. Cremation. Donations to a favourite charity would be appreciated.
