Obituary of Catherine Margaret Anne Ryan

RYAN It is with great sadness that the family of Catherine M.A. Ryan (nee Bowen), announce her passing at London Health Science Centre, Victoria Hospital on Wednesday December 28th. in her sixtieth year, after a lengthy and courageous battle with Lupus. Cherished wife of John T. Ryan of London. Proud mother of Tiberius (Tye) Ryan of London, Rebecca and her husband Rob Milligan of Warkworth and Tobias and his wife Sarah of Peterborough. Loving Grandmother of Linda and Samantha Milligan and Jackson Ryan. Cathy is survived by her brothers Ted and his wife Cheri of Brantford, David and his wife Anne of Peterborough and Tom and his wife Jane of Pickering. She will be dearly missed by her brothers-in-law Ab and his wife Nelda of Napanee, Bob and his wife Collette of Hope B.C. and Allen of Kingston Ontario. Much loved by sisters-in-law Anne and her husband Tom of Victoria B.C. and Sister Dorothy Ryan SSJ of Lloydminster Alb. She will be remembered fondly by her many cousins, nieces and nephews. Cathy was a kind, gentle and loving person, who will be missed by all who knew her. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by the family from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Monday January 2 at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo St. at King St. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Justin's Catholic Church, 855 Jalna Bl. on Tuesday, January 3 at 10.00 a.m. Prayers will be said at the Funeral Home on Monday at 8.00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Lupus Ontario, 590 Alden Rd., Suite 204, Markham On.
