Walter Arthur Robert Dias January 29th, 1913 - May 3rd, 2007 Walter Arthur Robert Dias, died peacefully at Mount Hope Long Term Care Facility on Thursdayt May 3rd, 2007, loving husband of the late Helene Dias (nee Martins) for 63 years, devoted and proud father of; Wendy (the late Leonard) Mascarenhas, Christopher (Ray) Dias, Rick (Rosalie) Dias, Mark (Lorraine) Dias, and Mary Ann (Bruce) Burbank. Cherished grandfather of Andrew (Sandra), Michael (Jennifer), Kathy (Ark), Jane (Derek), Jonathan, Nicholas, Matthew, Erin, Sarah, Isaac, Jesse, Rachael, Andreas and Jacob. Beloved great-grandfather of Alisha, Danielle, Ryan, Julia, Benjamin, and Samuel. Dear brother of Ellen Slark of Toronto, Edna Coutino of Toronto, Phyllis Davis of Karachi, Pakistan, and Stanley Dias of Toronto. He will be fondly remembered for his steadfast faith, his kindnesss, love and generosity to family and kin. Friends will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Wednesday evening, May 9th from 7-9 pm. Prayers Wednesday at 7 o'clock and Thursday at Holy Family Parish (St. Pius X), 777 Valetta Street on Thursday from 12 noon until the time of the Funeral Mass at 1 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Special "Thank you" to the staff at Mount Hope Long Term Care facility.
