Obituary of Beatriz Griffiths

GRIFFITHS, Beatriz- Beatriz Griffiths, the former Beatriz Franco Arbelaez, the beloved wife of Barry Griffiths, departed this life in her 58th year on the 26th of September 2013 after a prolonged illness. She was an honours graduate of the University of La Salle in modern languages and the Faculty of Graduate Studies (Education) at the University of Western Ontario. Kind, compassionate and a caring teacher, wife and friend, she was a joy to all who experienced her company. She is survived by her husband Barry Griffiths of London Ontario and her mother, Gabriella Arbelaez de Franco of Santa Rosa Colombia, her six brothers, Guillermo, Efrain, Alfonso, Hernando, Diego and Jorge Enrique, and hers sister, Maria Christina: all of whom live in Colombia. There will be a Mass celebrating the life of Beatriz to be held at St Peter's Cathedral Basilica, 196 Dufferin Avenue on Friday the 4th of October at 10:00 a.m. John T.
