Obituary of Norman John Girt

Girt, Norman It is with profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of Norman Girt on Wednesday, September 25, 2013. Loving son of Helen and the late Neil Girt. Dear brother of Terrie, Stephan and William (Laura). Cherished uncle of Rhys, Andrew and David. A private man who found joy in his nephews, Star Trek and funny as it is tropical fish. Norman spent his career as a proud civil servant working in the Prime Minister's Office on Parliament Hill. His quiet sense of humour will be missed by his friends in Ottawa. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Norman's life will be held on Saturday, October 19th at the RHLI Veterans Association Hall, 1353 Barton Street East, Hamilton from 2 - 5 pm.
