Abela Imbroll At Meadowview Villa, Petrolia, Friday, May 6, 2005, Mary Carmela (Imbroll) Abela, age 83. Beloved wife of the late John Abela (1994). Born 1921 in Malta, her beloved island home, arriving in Canada in 1951. Loving mother of Joseph Abela and his wife Doris, Charles Abela, Mario Abela, Isabel Turgeon and her husband Doug and Rose Dadson. Loving grandma of Joanne Abela and her husband Marc Reynold, Christine Abela and Colin, Paul Turgeon and his wife Brenda, John Abela and his wife Trish, Marianne Abela and Jay, John Dadson and his wife Bonnie and Christine Dadson. Loving great grandma of Lucas, Paige, John, Ema, Duke, Jacob, Sam and Sophie. Loving sister of Bice Martinelli and Victor Imbroll. Predeceased by sisters Censina (Sister Benedicta), Joseph, Michael and Janie. Dear aunt of Joseph and Lina Martinelli and Kathleen and Rolland Mutton. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. The family will be planting a memorial tree in St. Thomas Water Works Park. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 1 Fallons Lane on Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Monday evening at 7 o'clock. Memorial donations to the Alzheimers Society or Meadowview Villa Therapeutic Garden would be appreciated.
