Vecchio, Candida Peacefully with family at London Health Sciences Centre - Victoria Hospital on Friday, August 16, 2013, Candida Vecchio (Imonti) in her 89th year. Beloved wife of Giovanni for over 60 years. Loving mother of Tony Vecchio and his wife Franca, Mary Racine and her husband Mike and Angelo Vecchio and his wife Norina. Cherished Nonna of Angela (Andrew), Vanessa, John (Jennifer), Michael (Andress), Jessica (John), Heather (Jason) and John. Great Nonna of Adrian, Abigail and Olivia. Dear sister in law of Antonio (Carmela) Vecchio of Italy. Predeceased by her parents Catarina and Angelo, and by her siblings Antonio Imonti (Rosina) and Maria Fortese (Ludovico). Zia Candida will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada and Italy. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, London, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, 345 Lyle Street, on Monday morning at 10 o'clock. Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum - St. Peter's Cemetery to follow. Prayers Sunday evening at 8 o'clock. Donations to St. Mary's Church Restoration Fund would be appreciated.
