Obituary of Anne Rumas

Rumas, Anne Died peacefully at University Hospital, London, on Thursday, December 1st, 2011- Anne (Dudich) Rumas in her 86th year. Much loved wife for 64 years, of Matthew Lawrence Rumas. Mother of Steve Rumas (wife Carolyn Paige), Carol Martin (in Kelowna, B.C., husband Dave Martin) and Mike Rumas. Proud grandmother of Matthew Vernon Rumas (wife Tonya Hall), Paula Rumas (fiancé, Leo Echeverry), Jeff Rumas (wife Alyssa Pietraszko), Christopher Rumas, Ken Martin, Paul Martin, Brianne Rumas and Morgan Rumas. Great grandmother of Matthew Alexander, Caleb and Benjamin Rumas, and Natalia and Jacob Echeverry. Dear sister-in-law of John Rumas. Sister of George Dudich (pre-deceased 1986). Anne's love, devotion and consideration for family and extended family provided a beautiful example for all. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street, London on Wednesday, December 7th from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral mass will be held at St. Peter's Cathedral (corner of Richmond and Dufferin) on Thursday, December 8th at 1 o'clock. Interment to follow in St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Association or Sisters of the Precious Blood will be appreciated. The family thanks the Intensive Care Unit team at University Hospital for their care and compassion.
