Obituary of Eleanor Barrett

Barrett insert CWL Peacefully at Kensington Village, London, on Tuesday June 8, 2004, Eleanor Barrett in her 92nd year. Wife of the late Harvey Barrett. Loving mother of Larry Barrett and his wife Ruth. Much loved grandmother of Susan and Stefan Blass, Laurie and Scott Edmunds and Michael and Karen Barrett. Dear great grandmother of Adam and Paige Blass, Sarah and Amy Edmunds and Hannah and Sam Barrett. She will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews in Canada and the USA. She was born in Brandon, Manitoba, January 24, 1913. Over the years she was active in volunteer work and as a member of numerous associations; Red Cross (over 60 years), St. Patrick's Catholic Women's League, Marion Villa, East London Liberal Association, Fontbonne Auxiliary, Parkwood Hospital and St. Joseph's Hospital. Friends and relatives will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Friday June 11, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Patrick's Church, 377 Oakland Avenue at Dundas Street, on Saturday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. A reception will follow at St. Patrick's Parish Hall. Prayers Friday afternoon at 3:45 o'clock. Donations may be made to the Canadian Lung Association. Insert for THUR and FRI editions
