my deepest condolinces to you grandma for your loss. I was truly blessed to have mr walter in my life, he taught me a lot about being a man, and I have only but the best memories of him. I called him mr walter but I will always remember him as my grandpa.

Although I have only known Walter and Edith for a year it has been a very special time each and every time I would go to visit them. As a volunteer companion for Edith I did not bank on getting to know Walter too well. However, he was a very endearing man right from the start with a keen sense of humour and a very affable way about him. I enjoyed our chats about politics and other such topics. I miss him already and it's ironic that he follows my own Dad by only a month with the same dreaded lung cancer. I am so glad Walter did not have to suffer long. Appreciated so much viewing the family photos at Donohue's...what a legacy he leaves to his family!

Edith & family: We are so sorry for the loss of Walt. He was a great neighbour and a great friend to our family. Dave and he had many wonderful talks over the years, and you and Walt were so very kind to us during Dawn's hand accident. Edith, you know you can count on us to help you out any way we can.
