Bert was a member of the Canadian Navy and served on many missions on the North Atlantic run during World War II. He worked for over thirty years at Labatt's Brewery in London and retired after his service having made many close friends. While at Labatt's, he was a keen hockey player for its team and also participated in many of the company functions. He was a loving father who always maintained a keen interest in his children's lives and was a dear friend to a great number of neighbours and former co-workers. He will be sorely missed by all who had the fortune to know him. Bert took pride in his gardening skills and was always quick to offer advice in this and almost any other area to those who needed it. He was generous to all and loved conversations with anyone who would listen. Visitors will be received at John T.
