Shewaga It is with great sadness that the family of John L. Shewaga announces he passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday March 5, 2004 in his 77th year. John worked at Kelvinator of Canada for 20 years, then at 3M for over 23 years, where he received the President's Olympic Medal for working more than 18 years, having never missed a day of work. John was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion--Dutchess of Kent Branch. Loving husband of Joan (O'Neill) Shewaga. Dear father of Jacquie Preece-Lowe and her husband Mike Lowe of London, Jeff and his wife Micheline of Georgetown, Johnny and his wife Dora of London and Jamie and his wife Shannon of Trenton. Beloved "Puppy" to grandchildren Michael and his fiancee Angi, Daryl and his wife Tina, Jessie and Jamie Lowe, Amanda, Sara, Katie and Robbie, J.J. and Trevor and Megan and Drew. Dear brother of Anne Masynyk of British Columbia, Lil Diakiw, Pearl Kiryk and Michael Shewaga all of Saskatchewan. Also survived by 3 great-grandchildren, Jordan, Taylor and Cody. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at Mary Immaculate Church, 1980 Trafalgar Street, on Monday morning at 11 o'clock. Cremation with interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Sunday evening at 8 o'clock. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
