Obituary of Alma Champagne

CHAMPAGNE, Alma It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Alma Marie (Bolger) Champagne at Parkwood Hospital on March 12, 2011 in her 78th year. She will be dearly missed by her husband Jean-Marc, by her children Paul-Marc (Shelly), Jean-Pierre (Lisa) and by her grandchildren Emily, Aidan and Oscar. By her five sisters Rosemary, Elinor, Loreen, her twin sister Joan, and Betty Ann; also by her two brothers Martin and Stanley. Very courageously, Alma fought cancer since 2005. The family wishes to thank all who helped us during this long journey. Thank you Dr. Gil Schreier, the numerous highly devoted nurses at Victoria and Parkwood Hospitals and the nursing staff and personal support workers from the VON group. Also the great help from the London Hospice volunteers. Relatives, friends and visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street on Monday evening from 7-9 o'clock. Celebration of Life prayers at 8 o'clock. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 1 Fallon's Lane, London, on Tuesday morning, March 15, 2011 at 11 o'clock. Celebrants will be Rev. Dominic Borg, O.C.D. and Rev. Ranjan D'Sa, O.C.D.
