McAllister Legion CREST At St. Joseph's Hospital on Wednesday December 31, 2003 James A. McAllister of Pt. Franks formerly of London. Born in London, England. Predeceased by his parents Ralph and Violet (Milsome) McAllister. Beloved husband of Joan. Proud father of his daughter Krista and her husband Shannon Lake, son James and his companion Linda. Dear brother of June Stewart (William deceased), Carol Green (Dave), and Jean Nixon (Bill) all of Hamilton. Brother in law of Pat Murray (George) of PEI. Jim will be missed by his granchildren Daniel, Gavin and Morgan, nieces and nephews and their children and also his special extended family Susan, Kevin, Leah, Jenna and Dayne. He was a retired 25 year employee of the I.A.O. (Insurance Advisory Organization) served with the R.A.F. from 1948-52 in London, England. Proud to have been involved during the 50's in Cold Lake Alberta and AVRO with the "Arrow" aircraft. Member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 278 Thedford, ON. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King St., London, on Friday January 2, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock where the funeral service will be held on Saturday afternoon January 3, 2004 at 1 o'clock. Cremation with a private family interment at St. Peter's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to a charity of choice will be greatly appreciated by the family.
