Obituary of Leo Edward Matton
MATTON
Peacefully at Parkwood Hospital on Saturday,
December 13, 2003, with his family by his side,
Leo Edward, loving husband of Evelyn Matton,
in his 86th year. Most cherished father of
Elaine Matton of Huntsville and Joanne Hoos
and her husband John of Bracebridge. Most precious "papa" of Christopher and Cameron.
Dear brother of Ernest ( Vivian ) Matton of Grimsby of Henry ( Hank ) ( Jean ) Matton of Windsor. Dear brother-in-law of Bernard Roy of Essex. Predeceased by his infant daughter Cheryl and his brothers Emile and George Matton. A very special thank you to you, Dr. Steer and to all the staff at Parkwood Hospital for their exceptional love, care and understanding shown to our family. Leo was a flying officer with a Royal Canadian Air Force as a bomber pilot and served for three years over seas. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street on Monday from 2 - 4 and
7 - 9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at Mary Immaculate Church, 1980 Trafalgar Street on
Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Monday evening at 8:30 o'clock. Donations to the Parkwood Hospital Foundation, Palliative Care Unit would
be appreciated.
