Obituary of Kenneth Carlyle Purdy

Purdy As the result of an accident on Wednesday, October 29, 2003 Kenneth C. Purdy, beloved husband of 54 years of Ann (Tiede) Purdy. Dear uncle of Anita Harvey of Richmond Hill, Ont and many other nieces and nephews. Ken was a member of St. Peter's Basilica Choir, an usher at the church, a member of the Hamilton Road Seniors Association and the Kiwanis Club on Dundas Street. Ken was the proud recipient of 1st prize at this years Western Fall Fair. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Peter's Basilica, 196 Dufferin Avenue on Saturday morning at 10:30 o'clock. Cremation with interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Friday evening at 8:30 o'clock. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Peter's Restoration Fund or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. A special thanks to nurses Yolanda and Cheryl Anne, social worker Mike and Dr. Taneja at L.H.S.C., Irene Cooper and all the nurses from St. Elizabeth Home Care.
