Obituary of Ivan Horvat

Horvat Peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital on Tuesday July 1, 2003 Ivan Horvat, born in Hotiza, Slovenia, beloved husband of Ana (Felbar) and the late Mary Horvat (1981), in his 84th year. Proud father of Ivan and his wife Mary, Stephen and his wife Antonia, Tila Co-Dyre and her husband Gary, Elizabeth Hozjan, Jozef and his wife Marilyn, Mary Collins and her husband Ted. Dear Grampa of Shirley, Carrie-Anne, Vesna (Marshall), Kristina, Paul (Jennifer), Mark, Michael, Tila, Tom, Michele (Geoff), Peter, Angela, Lizzie, Kate and Jack, and great grandpa of Jayson, Christopher, and Matija. Dear brother of Ana Kotnjek of Slovenia. Predeceased by his brother Joseph and sister Mary. Dear cousin of Martin Utrosa of Windsor and Matija Utrosa of Slovenia. Stepfather of Nada, Olga, Stephen, and Meta and 6 grandchildren all in Slovenia. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at Holy Rosary Church, 712 Whetter Ave., on Friday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Thursday evening at 7:30 o'clock. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of choice would be appreciated.
