Obituary of Gail Patricia McKee

McKee, Gail Patricia (Sweeney) Courageously after a lengthy illness passed away peacefully at LHSC, Westminster Campus, on Monday May 12, 2003 in her 61st year. Beloved wife of the late George McKee. Dear and beloved mother of Cheryl Lynn McKee and Kelly Marie McKee. Dear Granma to Riley George McKee. Loving daughter of the late Elmer and Mary Sweeney, dear daughter in law of Reta McKee. Loving sister of the late Joseph Sweeney and his wife Madeleine, the late John Sweeney and his wife Dorien, the late Therese and Jack Kodak, the late Nora and Louis Gyurkovic, the late Terrence Sweeney and his wife Carol, and Linda Sweeney. She will be sadly missed by 1 niece, 4 nephews, and many cousins and friends. Many thanks to her dear friend Isabelle Johnston. Gail was a food supervisor at Westminster Campus and Victoria South Hospital retiring in 1993 after 28 years of service. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Patrick's Church, 377 Oakland Ave., (family requests friends meet at St. Patrick's on the day of the funeral) on Saturday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 2001 Dundas Street. Prayers Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock. At Gail's request in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the London Regional Cancer Centre of the Humane Society would be appreciated. "Her battle is over she is at Peace. Nothing left unsaid.
