Obituary of Giustina Erminia Capitano

McDonald "It's not what you take when you leave this world behind you. It's what you leave behind you when you're gone." (Johnson/Williams) Tim McDonald, husband, father and teacher, was called home to his God on Tuesday, May 6, 2003. Tim will be missed by his wife Carolyn, who treasured him, his sons Mickey, Jamie and Colin, who loved and honoured him as did his son Pat, Mickey's wife Vicky (Mercier), grandson Damien, and future daughter-in-law, Becky Rosser. Tim was the cherished son of Zita (Calgary), the brother of Patrick and family (Edmonton) and Terry and Mary Lou and family (Calgary). He will be sadly missed by his sister-in-law Noreen Smith and husband Dave and family (Niagara Falls), and Mary Kaye May and family (Kuujjuaq, Quebec), and by aunts and uncles and cousins, nieces and nephews in Calgary, Edmonton, Niagara Falls and Kuujjuaq. Tim was predeceased by his father Hugh, his dear son Daniel and his brother-in-law Father Mickey Kenney, CSSR. Tim loved his family and his friends without exception, and knew in turn that he was loved. Tim was an educator with the London District Catholic School Board for 32 years, touching students and teachers with his special gifts as teacher, chaplain, coach, colleague, and friend. A light has passed from this earth, and none of us will ever be the same. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Thursday evening May 8, from 7-9 o'clock and Friday May 9, 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock.
