Obituary of Conelis Laurens Cays Buren

Buren Cornelis (Cays L.) Laurens Buren died peacefully surrounded by his family and friends on October 10, 2002. Cays was the loving and beloved husband of 40 years of Marlies (nee Vermue). He was the dear father of James and Julie, Richard and Liisa, Doralyn and Gerry, and Robert and Sabrina. Proud Opa to Zoey, Keenan, Callum, Liam, Shakira, Dylan, Quinlan and anticipated arrival. Dear brother of Joyce Haakman, Laurens, Peter, Ida Schreurs, Dora Smeets, Margaret Verhoeven, Trudy Lenssen and Rita Freeman. . Visitors will be recieved at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Pius X Church, 777 Valetta Street, on Saturday at 10 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Friday evening at 7 o'clock. In lieu of flowers donations to a favourite charity would be appreciated. A dear friend, mentor and inspiration to countless many, Cays legacy will be how he enriched the lives and earned a place in the hearts of everyone he cared about.
