Sister Vincent De Paul Cronin
at Ignatia Hall at Mount St. Joseph, on Sunday, July 7, 2002 Sister Vincent de Paul Cronin (Helen Margaret) of the Community of the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Diocese of London in her 90th year and her 53rd year of religious life. Lovingly remembered by her nephew Tom Herrick and his wife Linda of Pakenham, Ont., and cousin Rosalind Venus and Tony Murphy of London, Ont., and John Lockhart of Carleton Place, Ont., Predeceased by her parents Frederick Cronin and Margaret Ann Galvin, sister Reva Herrick and brother Fred Cronin. Sister Vincent de Paul served in the Air Force during the Second World War as a nurse. After entering the commuunity of the Sisters of St. Joseph, she continued ministering as a nurse in Sarnia, London, Chatham, Killam and Galahad (Alberta). Her variety of gifts and warm heart led her to work in Emergency Departments, in Psychiatry and later in Pastoral Care. Throughout her life her deep faith sustained her and a wonderful sense of humour enriched all of those around her. Resting at Mount St. Joseph Motherhouse, 1486 Richmond Street N., London on Tuesday July 9, 2002 from 2-4 o'clock. Vigil Service at Mount St. Joseph Motherhouse, 1486 Richmond Street N., London on Tuesday evening at 7:30 o'clock. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated in Immaculate Conception Chapel, Mount St. Joseph Motherhouse, 1486 Richmond Street N., London on Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock.
