Obituary of Marion Thorpe

Thorpe Marion passed away peacefully on March 15th, 2003 in her 93rd year, at Marian Villa, London. Beloved wife of John (March 2000). Loving mother of three daughters and their husbands, Kathryn and Hugh McVittie of Ridgetown, Diane and Denis Moffatt of Victoria, B.C., Penny and Earl Giebelhaus, Rimbey, AB. Loved Nanny to David and Clara McVittie, Paul, Lindsay (London), Andrew and Krista McVittie, Ryan, Nicole, Kyle (Sarnia), Amy Moffatt (Vancouver BC), Susan Moffatt (Calgary AB), Ian and Babette Giebelhaus, Mitchell, Marni (Rimbey, AB.,) Elizabeth and Paul Moxham, Lindy (Vancouver, B.C.,) and Frances Giebelhaus (Nova Scotia). Marion was predeceased by her sister Phyllis Lindsay, and brother Ted Goodman. Cremation. Private family interment will be held at a later date. John T. Donohue Funeral Home.
