Mato Brkic passed away peacefully at LHSC Victoria Hospital in London, Ontario on Thursday June 14, 2007. Beloved husband of Mary Jane (Eade) Brkic and father of Joseph, Rose Mary and Henry Mato Brkic and grandfather of Laura Emily, Anica Christine Brkic and Ivan Alexander Brkic. Survived by sisters Ruza and husband Franc Mohoric, Ljuba and husband Pavo Dolic, Anda and husband Marko Cvitkusic and step brother Ivo Topic and wife Delfa: all of Croatia. Dearly loved by nephew Vinko Brkic and wife Marica and children Oliver and Danjela of London, and niece Nada (Brkic) Milos and husband Branko and children Branka, Ana, Josip and Nicol of Hamilton. Fondly remembered by brother in law Edward F. Eade of London, and sisters in law Cathleen Morton of Calgary and Elizabeth S. and husband Ken Riley of London. Sadly missed by many friends of the Croatian Community. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Prayers Sunday evening at 8 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Leopold Mandic Church, 2889 Westminster Drive, London, ON., on Monday morning at 9:30 o'clock. Interment at St. Peter's Cemetery.
