Dear Elaine and family: We continue to lift you up in our prayers. We miss you and Phil and our hearts ache for you during this very difficult time as we approach the 1t anniversary of his homecoming. We cherish the precious memories we have of Phil and you and LARTLA. He certainly was a huge beacon of light in this dark world. He was a great boss too! Praying that the Lord's peace and love continues to surround you and your family and reveal Himself to you in amazing ways! I know that Phil is at rest and living a beautiful life with His Lord and we too will soon join him there. Please know that we love you and think about you and LARTLA and the ministry you are doing. Prayers definitely coming your way from North Carolina. Love, Margarida, Danny and family.

I will never forget the first time I heard about Phil and Elaine from a close friend who spoke about the support you both offered her through LARLA during her pregnancy and after. I myself will never forget how much you did for us when we started the pro-life club at Western! Phil was such a stalwart to us as young people - his firm dedication to the preborn was very inspiring. His faith in the Lord seemed to be the central aspect of his life, his work and his character - and as young pro-life Catholic activists, we were privileged to be lead by his example and witness. I thank the Lord for the gift of Phil and for all God has done through him! And I'm sure Phil's work for the preborn and the dignity of life will continue in heaven. My deepest condolences and prayers are with all his family at this time.

You and Phil were both big rolemodels for me of people who lived by the Truth no matter the circumstances. Your youthful and energetic example , along with philosophy classes at St. Peter's, both combined to make me change my lifestyle, awaken to the reality of the faith I claimed to be in, and strive to be the best I can be. You both reminded me that there's no milestone in life -be it graduation, career, marriage, family- at which you can just stop caring about what's truly important.

I have many wonderful memories of my uncle...Even as a kid he could always make me laugh and I always felt good being around him. When I was about 13 I would babysit and my usual customers would pay me 3 dollars for the night, but when I babysat for Barb and Phil, not only did I get to see my cousins but he always gave me 5 dollars and if they stayed out extra late he gave me 7 dollars...WOW! I've never forgotten that....plus driving me home and saying how thankful he was.....After my Aunt Barb died we started a new family tradition and for 18 years our families spend every Christmas Eve together sharing food, friendship and a lot of good laughs. This has made the passing of Phil and Ange even more heartbreaking for us. ....and so to my Uncle Phil instead of saying GOODBYE I will say what you would always say to me, accompanied with a big hug.."God Bless You"

Dear Elaine: We and all the volunteers of the LIVING ROSARY IN THE SCHOOLS offer our heartfelt condolences to you and your family. Many rosaries were prayed for your intentions by students of Jean Vanier School last Thursday. Their beautiful Divine Mercy Chaplets, which they learned about that day, were offered for the repose of Phil's soul. How innocent and powerful are the prayers of children! When you and Phil spoke to Sr.Pat Sloan and I on Divine Mercy Sunday at Mary's Church, we felt so blessed as we listened to Phil's sharing his thoughts on Angela's passing. What a privilege to have had that last chance to be in Phil's presence just 10 days ago. You both are shining lights in this community. May the Divine Assistance be always with you,Elaine. God bless. The Living Rosary in the Schools, Rosemarie & Terry Lyng

Dear Elaine, remember when you and Phil were helping me put up curtains or drapes in my apartment? It was such a fun experience for the two of you were offering suggestions, Phil was measuring to make sure the rod was exactly right, and then you tried to make the curtains hang straight. I love so much working with you, praying with you as we did at the Lift Jesus Higher rally, and singing Christmas carols at the London Area Right to Life Christmas party. You are very special people, beautiful inside and out. God bless you!

Dear Elaine & Family I read someplace that "the hands we've helped are the hands that reach down and pull us into Heaven". Whether that's true or not, I know that Phil is 'in good hands' right now. So many good memories. Such big shoes to fill. Show the Truth will never be the same. Truly a pro-life giant. Prayers for Phil, and for your peace and comfort.

Dear Elaine; God bless you and your family in this deeply sad time. We wish to extend our utmost appreciation to you and Phil for all the driving and mentoring of our children during the Show the Truth years. My husband and I were so blessed to have you both as second parents to them as you all witnessed on behalf of the unborn. God, I pray, will be well pleased with his servant, Phil, who fought the good fight in his relentless pursuit of justice for his aborted brothers and sisters in Christ. Grant eternal rest unto him, O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen!

Words cannot express how our hearts are feeling. Phil's legacy can be seen far and wide. My family and I are honored to have known Phil and Elaine for over 10 years and we are so thankful to the Lord for the privilege of knowing this wonderful couple. Phil was my "boss" at LARTLA for 9 years and he taught me so much! He was the best "boss" if I can call him that, that anyone could have had! He was an inspiration, a mentor and an awesome role-model! Elaine, our prayers are with you! We love you and please know that there are many people in North Carolina praying for you and the family... What a day that must have been in Heaven when God welcomed his son Phil to partake of His eternal glory! Until we meet again my dear friend Phil! "Well-done, my good and faithful Servant!" With love, Margarida and Dan Andre, Warsaw, North Carolina.
