Obituary of John James Taylor

Taylor Peacefully at his residence in London on Saturday, August 12, 2001 John James (Jack) beloved husband of Rita (nee Steffler) Taylor in his 83rd year. Beloved father of Mary Ann Grotheer and her husband John, Jacquie Taylor and her husband Ross, and Debbie Langford and her husband Carl. Dear grandfather of Stephen, Kevin, Wesley, Patrick, Kenora, and Jessica. Dear brother of June Boyle of Burlington and Peter Taylor and his wife Sandra of Victoria, B.C. Dear brother-in-law of Anna Taylor of London. Predeceased by his brother Paul Taylor. Uncle Jack was dearly loved by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Taylor served overseas in the R.C.P. in North Africa from 1942-1945. After returning from duty, Jack a longtime employee of C.P.R. until he retired in 1979. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King St., on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Patrick's Church, 377 Oakland Ave., on Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Tuesday evening at 8:15 o'clock. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
