Obituary of George McGinnes

McGinnes Peacefully surrounded by his family at London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria South Street Campus on Wednesday July 4, 2001 George McGinnes beloved husband of Mary McGinnes in his 75th year. Adored father of Sharon Hauckwitz and her husband Rolf of Mooretown, Ont., Lovingly remembered by his brothers and sisters and their families in Scotland. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Saturday July 7th from 10:30 o'clock until the time of the service at 12 noon. Cremation with interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, London Health Sciences Centre--Cardiac Care Unit, or the charity of your choice would be appreciated. His wants were simple his wishes few he craved neither wealth nor fame an honest man with a heart of gold he asked for little from those he knew he lived for each passing day and never failed to do his best His heart was warm and tender he lived his life for those he loved and those he loved remember. He would not wish for sorrow, nor would he wish for tears, but just to be remembered by us throughout the years.
