HAMMOND At home on Saturday, August 17, 2002. Gordon Hammond in his 77th year. Beloved husband and best pal of Wife Yvonne. Loving father of Bob and Lynne, JoAnne and Stew Borland, Abbie and Ken Heslop, Nola and Dan Collins, Steve and Shelly and Ken and Jean. Dear grandfather of 17. Gordon was a retired Bell telephone employee of 38 years, World war ll Navy Veteran, and a member of the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame. There will be no funeral home visitation. Funeral Mass at St. John the Divine Church, 390 Baseline Road., West, on Monday morning at 11 o'clock. Private interment in St. Peter's Cemetery.
