Obituary of Beverly Lois Pease
Pease
Peacefully and surrounded by her family at Parkwood Hospital's Palliative Care Unit on Mother's Day. Sunday May 13, 2001, Beverly Lois Pease (nee Johnston) of London in her 68th year. Bev was born in Amherstburg, Ontario to Dorothy Kelly (nee Coughlan) ans was the sister of Dick Kelly and the late Bob Johnston. In 1954 Bev married Lloyd and together they have 5 children: Ted and his wife Pam, Jeff and his wife Erin, Sue and her husband Rob, Joel and Monica, and their 8 grandchildren--Angela, Michael, Amanda, Christian, Rebekah, Robbie, Jessica, and Erica. They adored and loved their Mom and Grandma very much. Bev was a devoted wife, mother and friend to all who knew her. She spent many years in nursing at St. Joe's in London, and after her retirement at age 60 Bev continued to live her life to the fullest. She was an active curler, golfer and bridge player, and she was devoted to her church. Bev knit outfits for the newborns in the hospitals when she wasn't making sweaters for her own children or grandkids. Bev remembered everyone's birthday. She unfailingly made each one of her children feel important and she cherished all her friends. Everyone knew Bev as a selfless, caring, and devoted person, always willing to help others. She wanted her family and friends not to mourn her passing but to celebrate her life with music and friendship. Bev's spirit will remain with her circle of family and friends. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral HOme, 362 Waterloo St., at King St., on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. George's Church, 1144 Commissioners Road W., on Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Tuesday evening at 8:30 o'clock. Bev said her suffering would make us stronger and able to help others in need. In lieu of flowers , please support the Palliative Care Unit at Parkwood Hospital or the London Regional Cancer Centre in memory of Bev.
