Obituary of Vito Michienzi

Michienzi Peacefully at Parkwood Hospital on Thursday February 1, 2001 Vito Michienzi, loving husband of Maria (Gimigliano) in his 88th year. Beloved father of Antonio and his wife Maria, Nicola and his wife Melina, Rosa and her husband Vincenzo Michienzi, Laura and her husband Willem Van Galen, Maria, all of London, Barbara adn her husband Francis Curley, of Woodbridge. Predeceased by his son Francesco. Loving grandfather of Jack, David, Marilena, Sabrina, Vito, Sara, Lisa, Marie, Nicoletta, Francesco, Esther and Austin. Dear brother of Caterina and her late husband Antonio Bartucca, the late Giovanni and his wife Rosa Michienzi, of London, the late Tommaso and his wife Maria Michienzi, Giovanna and her late husband Giuseppe Serratore, Concetta and her late husband Giuseppe Santacroce, Giuseppe and his wife Domenica Michienzi, Elisabetta and her late husband Vito Santacroce, of Italy. Brother-in-law of Giulio and Rosina Anello, Tommaso Gimigliano and Barbara Gimigliano, also of Italy. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. The Michienzi family would like to thank the staff and volunteers of the Palliative Care Unit at Parkwood Hospital for thier excellent care and compassion. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo St., at King St., London, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 345 Lyle Street, on Saturday morning at 11 o'clock. Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum, St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Friday evening at 8:15 o'clock.
