Obituary of Kathleen Lyne

LYNE Peacefully at Parkwood Hospital, London on Friday, January 19, 2001, Kathleen Lyne, born in Dundas, Ontario in 1916. Daughter of the late Mabel and John Lyne and sister of John of Burlington. Devoted aunt to Barbara ( Mrs. Lee Swan ) of Dundas and enthusiastic cheerleader to grandnephews Matthew and Tyler Swan, both of Toronto. Katie graduated from Toronto Sick Children's Hospital in 1938. She remained on the nursing staff until W.W. II when she became a member of the first hospital unit to enter France, ultimately returning home from Germany in 1946, and becoming a long time employee of the Labatt's Medical Department in London. Cremation has taken place with a private family funeral service and interment to be held in Dundas, Ontario. ( John T. Donohue Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements ).
