Obituary of Jean Dicker

DICKER, Jean Margaret- Passed away after a short illness surrounded by her family at L.H.S.C. University Hospital on March 11, 2013 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Edward Gordon Dicker (1992). She will be missed by her loving children Bernard and his wife Catherine and Michael and his wife Martha. Cherished grandma of Jennifer Foster (Jim), John Paul (Melissa), Michelle, Katie (Paul Locking) and Sarah; and great grandma to Shawn, Megan and Nathan. Dear sister of Patrick Reidy, Violet Hawkes (Brian), and the late Joseph, Ken, Don, Madeline, Marg and Bill. Remembered by sister-in-law Jean Black, Ida Dicker and Thelma Reidy and by brothers-in-law Ray Dobbyn, Jim Ryan and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to personally thank the staff of McGarrell Place-Kingsmill Court for their compassion and care. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 o'clock. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter's Cathedral Basilica, 196 Dufferin Avenue on Thursday morning March 14, 2013 at 11 o'clock. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Wednesday at 7 o'clock.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
