Obituary of Patrick James Walsh

Walsh, Patrick James Peacefully, at home, Grandwood Park Retirement Residence, on Saturday, March 9, 2013, Patrick James (Jim) Walsh, in his 94th year. Beloved husband of Monica Walsh (2011), and loving father of Mary (John McCready), Helen (Bryce Peacock), Patricia Annie, Patrick, Sheila (Mark Devlin), Dan (Cheryl Sauve), and Catherine (Don Bowman). Survived by 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Also survived by sister, Betty McLaren, sister-in-law, Estelle Walsh, and brother-in-law, George Andrews, and by his loved nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 8 brothers and sisters. He was devoted to his family and to his faith. In his declining days, the family greatly appreciated the caring support that we received from the staff at Grandwood Park and from the palliative care team from CCAC. Visitation at Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street, London, on Tuesday March 12th, from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Mass at St. Michael's Church, 511 Cheapside Street., on Wednesday March 13th at 10 am. Interment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Tuesday evening at 7 pm. Memorial donations to a charity of your choice will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
