At St. Joseph's Hospital, London on Tuesday, September 5, 2000 Annie Lucille (Louise) McCallum (Mussolum) of London, in her 87th year, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with diabetes. Beloved wife of the late Albert J. McCallum (1983). Dear mother of Robert and his wife Lorraine and William and his wife Jayne, all of London. Survived by her brother George Mussolum and her sisters Marie Lee, Margaret Ross, Edna Connolly and Joan Campbell. Predeceased by her brothers Abe and Mike Mussolum and her sister Mary Schrieber. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Scott, Brent, Garner and Todd and great grandchildren Jacob, Connor, Braeden and Emma. Will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Lucille will be remembered for her many years at the Board of Education and her devotion to many charitable organizations such as the St. Joseph's Hospitality Centre (Soup Kitchen operated by the Sisters of St. Joseph's), Princess Elizabeth P.S. Hme and School Association, Girl Guides, and South London Community Association. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock, where the funeral service will be held on Thursday at 12 noon with Fr. Chris Bourdeau officiating. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or St. Joseph's Hospital, London Dialysis Unit would be appreciated.
