Obituary of Neil O'Neill Pocock

Pocock Neil O'Neill Pocock Born in Toronto on June 8, 1917 Died in London on Wednesday August 30, 2000. Devoted husband of Jean (Kitchen) Pocock. Loving father of Peter, Ann, Nancy and Douglas, and grandfather of Douglas, Emily, Heather, Thomas and Julie. Beloved brother of Rosamond and Gerald, and the late John and Hubert Pocock. Neil was proud of his service in the Canadian Army in the Second World War, was a leader in the Canadian shoe industry for 30 years, and was an educator in the field of business administration. He was a pioneer in the establishment of the Ontario Federation of the Cerebral Palsy and known for his work and leadership in this field. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo St., at King St., London. on Thursday August 31, 2000 from 7-9 o'clock where the funeral service will be held on Friday morning, September 1, at 11 o'clock. A private burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Toronto. Donations to Children's Hospital of Western Ontario would be appreciated. Please remeber to pray for this good man. Thank you.
