Obituary of Frederick John Farwell

FARWELL Peacefully at Parkwood Hospital on Sunday, August 7, 2005, Fred Farwell, in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Monica Farwell ( Purtill ). Loving father of Bill Farwell ( Diana ), Mary Lyn Thompson ( Tom ), Michael Farwell ( Wendy ) and Patti Ciriello ( John ). Devoted grandfather of Greg ( Amy ), Christopher, Stephen ( Sherry ), Robert, Richard, Michael, Ryan, Sean, James, Monica and Patrice. Dear brother of Sister Carmel Farwell S.S.N.D. Dear brother-in-law of Cecilia Farwell, Bill Watson and Eva Purtill. Predeceased by his parents Pius and Catherine Farwell ( Smith ), his sisters Cecilia McQuillen,Charlotte Isenberg, Luella Koenig, Ann Marie Watson, Sister Clare Farwell S.S.N.D. and his brother Louis Farwell. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was a veteran of World War II and employed for over 30 years with John Hayman and Sons. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, London on Monday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Patrick's Church, 377 Oakland Avenue at Dundas Street on Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Monday evening at 7 o'clock.
